OxNet Science Summer School
Sunday, 29th July to Friday, 3rd August 2018
Applications are now being accepted applications for the OxNet Access Week Science Summer School. This school will be held in Pembroke College, University of Oxford, from Sunday 29 July to Friday 3 August 2018. The Access Week summer school is entirely free to attend and will immerse Year 12 participants in an academically challenging programme of events including tutorials, lectures, independent research and study and laboratory visits. There will also be plenty of opportunity to meet current students and find out more about university life and study. All meals and accommodation are included.
The deadline for applicants is midnight on 25 June 2018. We are unable to consider any application received after this date.
Applications are invited from Year 12 students at state maintained schools and sixth forms in Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
There is no minimum academic requirement but we expect applicants to be aspiring to study a STEMM based subject at degree level (at any university). If you have any questions regarding the summer school or application process, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
To apply to attend the Access Week summer school, please fill out the form below. There is no automatic confirmation email once you submit your application; applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application shortly after the deadline of 25 June 2018. Those considering the applications will be taking into account contextual information similar to that used in university admissions (see here). We look forward to receiving your application.
